Guru Nanak Institute of Engineering & Technology established in year 2007 and encourages every student to use the library that has been carefully built up since the inception of the College. All the libraries strive for high quality of library services which emphasis the actual delivery of information as well as needs of users.
The collection in our library, housed in a spacious 718 sq.mt block includes more than 24489 volumes covering different engineering streams. The digital library set up in association with e-journals DELNET, NDL, SWAYAM, MOOC, RTMNU Membership, Science Direct.com and Open access provides students and faculty instant access to National and International journals in their branches of specialization.
Internet connectivity is available on 10 personal computers through broadband connectivity. Students can access their own laptops through WIFI connection. The library is open to students and faculty between 9.30 am – 5.00 pm on all working days. On an average more than 100 students make use of the library every day. The library also provides photocopy facility for the users. Our staffs at the library deliver just-in-time information with passion and a smile. The Book Bank Facility is also provided to the entire student's for their convenience as per Semester Schemes.

The circulation section remains open between 9.30 am to 5.00 pm on all working days (Except on holidays, unless decided otherwise by the Institute.)
OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogues) facility is available at the library to facilitate online search of books with Title, Author, Keyword and Subject search options.
The Reference Section has various books that are sources of information about different subjects. They include dictionaries, encyclopedias, manual, and other informational books.
Reading area consists with natural air and light. At a time more than 150 students can read in comfortable reading area.
The readers can get the photocopy of interested articles or chapters from the library documents.

There are 10 highly configured P.C. with 17" TFT monitor in which user can get 10 mbps internet speed. User can download and write the data.
New arrived books will be displayed on reference section in the regular intervals.

DELNET
Library is a member of Developing Library Network (DELNET), which provides services like browsing of Union Catalogues, Inter Library Loan and Document Delivery Services. Interested Readers can access the Catalogues of other Libraries through DELNET and request the required books/documents to be procured from these libraries on loan for a limited period.
Library is a member of National Digital Library (NDL), which is a virtual repository of learning resources with a single window search facility filtered and federated searching so that learners can find out the right resource with least effort and in minimum time.

RTMNU KRC
RTMNU (Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University) library members, including affiliated colleges, can access e-resources through the Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC). The KRC provides access to various e-resources like e-journals, e-books.
NPTEL
(National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) provides a vast library of free online video courses, primarily focused on engineering and science disciplines, along with some humanities and social sciences. These courses are developed by IITs and IISc and are accessible through the NPTEL website and their YouTube channel. The videos are designed to offer a structured learning experience, with options for certification exams and downloadable course materials.
J-GATE
J-Gate is an electronic gateway and database that provides access to global e-journal literature. It indexes articles from a vast number of e-journals, with links to full-text content at publisher sites. J-Gate aims to help researchers and users find and access scholarly articles from various disciplines.
SWAYAM PRABHA
Swayam Prabha hosts new content daily for at least (4) hours. This gets repeated 5 more times in a day, allowing students to choose the time of their convenience. The channels are uplinked from BISAG (Bhaskaracharya Institute of Space Applications and Geo-Informatics), Gandhinagar. The contents are provided by NPTEL, IITs, UGC, CEC, IGNOU, NCERT and NIOS. The INFLIBNET Centre maintains the web portal.

Department faculty submit book recommendations based on curriculum requirements and research needs
Students can submit book requests through suggestion box or directly to library staff for academic support
Library Advisory Committee evaluates recommendations based on relevance, budget, and collection development policy
Approved recommendations are prioritized based on available budget and departmental allocation
Books are procured through authorized vendors following institutional procurement guidelines
New books are cataloged using DDC system and made available through OPAC for easy access
