Dr. Kishor B. Porate, B.E. (Electrical Engg.) and M.E. (Electrical Power System) from Amravati University in 1988 and 2005 respectively. He did his Ph.D from RTM Nagpur University in May 2014.
He has about 37 years of teaching experience. He has published more than 70 papers in refereed journals and conferences.
He was member Board of Studies in Electrical Engineering, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur. He has been a subject expert in university constituted selection committee for various Engineering colleges. He was a member of local enquiry committee of Nagpur University.
He has delivered many expert lectures at various engineering colleges in and around Nagpur. He was invited as Session Chair in IEEE TENCON 2009 during Technical Program “Generation, Transmission and Distribution II” organized by IEEE Region 10, at Singapore scheduled on 23–26 November 2009.
He has attended many national and international conferences in the capacity of Session Chair. He is a member of various professional bodies like Institution of Engineers (India), ISTE etc.
He has handled various positions like Professor and Head of Department, Controller of Examinations, Dean Academics, etc.
